Going on Vacation?
The City of Eugene "Seniors on Patrol" program offers a free home check service while you are away on vacation or business. To take advantage of this free service you will need to complete a
Home Vacation Check Application
at least one week prior to the start date of your vacation
. Be sure to fill out the application
completely and as detailed as possible.
Visit the city's
Home Vacation Check Program
page for more detailed information about the program. You can also contact Program Manager Debbie Janecek by
or call her at
541-682-8845
or West University Public Safety Station at
541-682-5642
with any questions you may have about the form or the program.
Even if you do not take advantage of this service you may want to review page 2 of the application for tips on keeping your home safe and minimizing the chances of an unpleasant homecoming.
